Number of vacancies : 422 posts
Name of Post : Junior Engineer (Trainee)
Name of the Branch -
1. Electrical: 241 Posts
2. Electronics: 57 Posts
3. Tele-communication: 06 Posts
4. Civil Engineering: 118 Posts
Eligible Criteria -
Age Limit - Candidates age sholud be between 18 years to 35 years as on 01-01-2013. Age relaxation will be applicable as per Govt. rules.
Educational Qualification - Candidates must have passed three years Diploma examination in Electrical Engineering/ Electronics Engineering/ Telecommunication Engineering/ Civil Engineering awarded by Pravidhik Shiksha Parishad, Uttar Pradesh or a Diploma, equivalent thereto, recognized by the State Government.
Selection Process - Candidates would be selected based on their performance in computer based test and interview.
Application Fee - Candidates need pay fee of Rs.700/- for SC/ST category and Rs.1000/- for General/OBC category and EXSM and candidates other than state of UP.
How to Apply - Eligible candidates can apply online through the website (www.uppcl.org ) on or before 28-10-2013. Candidates should bring relevant original documents viz caste certificate,date of birth & domicile or educational qualification certificates etc for verification along with a self attested copy of each document at the time of interview.
