Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB) Government of Tamil Nadu has invited applications for direct recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor in Tamil Nadu Collegiate Educational Service for appointment in Government Arts and Science Colleges for 1093 vacancies in various subjects. Eligible candidates who wish to apply for this job, may apply through prescribed application format on or before 10-07-2013. TRB Recruitment 2013 Vacancy Details:
Total no. of posts: 1093
Name of post: Assistant Professor
Pay scale: Rs.15600-39100/- + Academic Grade Pay Rs.6000/-
Eligibility criteria:
Age Limit: Candidates age upper age limit is 57 years as on date 01-07-2013. Age Relaxation will be applicable as per rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Post graduate Degree in the relevant subject/ Ph.D or equivalent qualified from any recognized University.
Application fee: Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/ST and and Differently Abled candidates) in any Branch of State Bank of India/Indian Overseas Bank through Challan attached with the prospectus. Payment of processing fees in any other method will not be accepted.
Application form: The Application Form (OMR format) with Prospectus can be purchased (from 19.06.2013 to 10.07.2013 at 5.30 PM) at any one of the Offices of the Colleges mentioned in the Annexure-IV (in official notification) on payment of Rs.100/- (Rupees Hundred only) in cash for all candidates.
Selection Process : Initially Candidates will be selected on the basis of Certificate Verification and Interview.
How to apply: Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format i.e Optical Mark Reader (OMR) format. Candidates are advised to submit filled-in application form at the any of the colleges designated to receive the filled in Application Forms as in the Annexure-IV (given in official notification) on or before 10.07.2013, 5.30 P.M. Applications should not be send to TRB directly.
